i am here to announce that coloringbooks will continue accepting lineart (drawings that aren't coloured) but will be put into scraps so that colourees will have an easier time to see what's available to colour. so if there are any lineart artists who wish to have theirs coloured send in links via notes.

(scraps will be deleted once someone has coloured it in to avoid having too many of the same or too many scraps)

mission statement we believe that coloring, between the lines or otherwise, is a vital, healthy exercise, and that due to temporal discrimination, aka 'age-ism', a large segment of the population has been pressured to go without coloring for far too long. it is the intent of this community to reclaim the act of coloring for all ages, styles and motivations.


how to join you can unofficially join the community by thinking that you might like to. to officially join you must let one of us (founder or administrator) know that you wish to join. how you do this is entirely up to you. a few options include landing on one of our roofs, mailing us a note scrawled on magazine clippings of various celebrities or simply adding the community to your watch.



first rule: there are no rules

second rule: all coloring pages posted must first be made available to someone who possesses the password

third rule: all work submitted must be colored in some way and must have begun as some type of line drawing

fourth rule: the colorer must not be the coloree

fifth rule: based on the status of statute 156b in the coloring sector code of discretionary procedure all licensed and unlicensed coloring persons must first submit to ratification by an eligible part at the convenience of said party and to the end that said party sees fit. failure to do so may lead to measured thus derived from the act in question.

final rule: rules are null and void by whim of the founder or administrator
